Polemia is a free quiz maker and party game. Type any theme, paste a link, or drop in a PDF, Word or PowerPoint file, and Polemia writes the quiz for you. Then everyone joins on their own phone with a short code: no app to install and no account to make.

How it works

1 · Make it. Choose a theme, a link or a file, pick facts or opinions, and say how many questions. Your quiz is ready in seconds, or you can write every question yourself.

2 · Play it. Share the join code or show it on a TV. Players answer on their phones while the clock runs, and the big screen shows every answer as it lands.

3 · Win it. Points for the right answer, or for guessing what most people said. The podium crowns the winner, and the host can review every answer afterwards.

Is Polemia free?

Yes. Making quizzes, hosting games and playing are free, with no trial and no card.

Do players need an app or an account?

No. Players open polemia.ai on any phone, type the join code and play. Nobody signs up, not the host and not the guests.

What can I make a quiz from?

Any theme you type, a web page link, or a PDF, Word or PowerPoint file. You can also write your own questions, or pick a ready-made quiz from the Quiz Library.

How many people can play?

A game works for two people at a kitchen table and for a whole room: classes, offices, pub quizzes and parties all play together on their own phones.

Which languages does Polemia speak?

Polemia is in 70 languages, each at its own address, and quizzes are written in the language you type in.

What does Polemia keep about me?

As little as possible: no email, no password and no real name. One cookie remembers your profile on this device, and you can delete everything from Settings.

Can I use it in class or at work?

Yes. Teachers use it to check what a class remembers, and teams use it for icebreakers and quiz nights. The big-screen mode puts the questions on a TV.

Can ChatGPT or Claude make a Polemia quiz?
